Such is the case with Pattaya, its restaurant scene is shifting with the times. Beach clubs have been infused with bohemian vibes and some of our favorite restaurants are shifting to be more on-trend. 

What does that mean for you? Well, the most unique, newest, and best restaurants in Pattaya have separated themselves from the rest, offering more enriching experiences than before.

Fat Coco Seafood Club (Pattaya Beach)

Of all the restaurants on Pattaya Beach Road, Fat Coco Seafood Club brings all the fun beachy ambiance to your dining experience. There’s a lot unique to Fat Coco from its immersion of Bali boho and Caribbean vibes to its eclectic menu, all on the brink of azure waters.

As one of the best seafood restaurants in Pattaya, folks who love their fresh catch, crabs, and oysters, can dine out on their favorites. Add in some Thai and broader South East Asian flair and you’ll have a menu that is big on both color and flavor.

With a recently added swimming pool which we are yet to try out, Fat Coco delivers the good vibes. Something that’s only aided by immersive decor and drink selections. Are pool parties coming soon? We’ll have to wait and see!

The Oxygen Beachfront Oasis (Pratumnak)

Where other waterfront locations in Pattaya go all in on the bright lights, the glitz, and the glamour, The Oxygen Beachfront Oasis is just that. Life here is all about the chilled vibes with its sprawling oceanfront terrace designed for relaxation.

In Pratumnak, the Oxygen Beachfront Oasis is away from the main scene. Coming here takes you away from the heart of Pattaya into a quiet alcove where you can enjoy the company of family and friends over a zesty cocktail and a mix of Thai and European cuisine.

The terrace is rich in vegetation that adds to the peaceful ambiance providing the perfect scene for an afternoon session in one of our best restaurants in Pattaya.

Sky Gallery (Pratumnak)

Move a little further up the Pratumnak coast than The Oxygen and you’ll arrive at Sky Gallery. This modern spot is another great example of Pattaya creating more opportunities for you to enjoy immaculate, Insta-worthy vibes.

Everything about Sky Gallery is on trend, whether it’s the name; you feel like you’re in the canopy of a lush jungle or the bird nest style seating. The latter provides private spaces for your crew to peruse the collection of craft cocktails and seafood eats.

Its elevated position allows you to almost feel on top of the sea. So whether it becomes your morning coffee spot or evening retreat, Sky Gallery provides immersive views of Cozy Breach and beyond.

Hops Brewhouse Pattaya (Pattaya Beach)

Another popular restaurant on Pattaya Beach Road, Hops Brewhouse takes you away from the bohemian vibes and social media-famous locales into a good ol’ fashion pub. It’s the place to indulge in some classic pub feed, with welcoming service. 

The Brewhouse will soon feel like your local and if you’re European, your home away from home.

That’s the experience covered. But what of the beer? Hops Brewhouse is the perfect antidote for those tired of the plethora of heavy pilsners and lagers. Yep, they’ve got those too, but with a wider draft selection thanks to their onsite German craft brewery, you can enjoy a night off from the traditional Thai beers.

Here, guests can enjoy a pint and feed alongside some live music that will kick the evening into overdrive. Many locals, including us, favor Hops Brewhouse as one of the best pubs in Pattaya.

Beer Hubb (Pattaya Beach)

Beer Hubb may be new to the scene here in Pattaya, but it’s already made quite the splash. It’s far from your regular bar, with its plethora of beer selections bringing you the most variety of any in town with well over 30 drafts on tap. With even my favorite Stouts and Porters on the menu, Beer Hub easily offers the best beer in Pattaya.

However, the wide selection of beer is just a part of the reason you’ll want to come back. On Pattaya Beach Road, it’s a fun, down-to-earth location that’s completely unpretentious. 

It’s also got one of the better 2-level seaview terraces on the beach strip giving you the perfect background for your pint of IPA photo.  

Beer Hubb is a welcoming place to hang out and their willingness to promote local culture and live music gives every night a sense of difference.

Horizon Rooftop Restaurant and Bar (Pattaya Beach)

Coming to life as the sun goes down, Horizon Rooftop Restaurant and Bar is one of the most unique restaurants in Pattaya. From the 34^th floor of the Hilton Hotel, enjoy your Pattaya Sling as you admire the horizon turning from blue to orange to red.

Come dark, the deep blue neon lights take over, creating an air of sophistication with a dash of nightclub vibes.

As you would expect from an upscale rooftop bar, you’ll find your favorite classic and signature cocktails. These pair well with its European and seafood-rich menu. There’s also a set menu for those bigger celebrations.

Surf and Turf Beach Club and Restaurant (Wongamat Beach)

On the talcum powder sands of Wongamat Beach, Surf and Turf Beach Club and Restaurant offers guests an envious location and the best steak in Pattaya. The club also serves up a mix of Italian, Japanese, and Thai in a chic, waterfront setting from morning into the late hours.

With your spot on the sand secured, you can make the most of Surf and Turf’s all-day dining, dancing between the ocean waves and the Mediterranean-inspired space. 

Their Combination Platter charcuterie board pairs perfectly with their bubbly afternoon Champagne set. For something a little more filling their seafood creations and pizzas hit the spot.

The Glasshouse Boho (Na Jomtien Beach)

On Na Jomtien Beach, the Glasshouse Boho is a sprawling complex like no other. Yes, there is a literal glasshouse, but then there’s the dining setup where the sand glides between your toes thanks to the day loungers, bean bags, and group spaces all on the beach. 

There’s an endless selection of dining spots and we haven’t even mentioned those with regular floor surfaces.

But we digress, the Glasshouse Boho is more than just what meets the eye. It’s one of the best Thai food restaurants in Pattaya with a fresh take on traditional cuisine. This aspect allows The Glasshouse Boho to be more than just your average beach restaurant in Pattaya.

The Beach Club Pattaya (Wongamat Beach)

On Wongamat Beach in Nakluea, the Beach Club Pattaya has a little something for everyone. Where other beach clubs can appear very specific in their wanted audience, there’s a simple elegance to your experience here.

The Beach Club has a beautiful beachfront setting, with your classic blue and white sailor colors splashed across the day beds. It’s a cozy place to explore the club’s seafood and Thai-inspired appetizers with your friends. This includes the $1 Oyster Frenzy!

Back a little from the beach is a wider dining space where you can enjoy more of their beachy fare such as fresh catch along with their amazing burgers.

Cave Beach Club (Na Jomtien Beach)

Boho, chic, effortlessly stylish, rustic, whatever adjective you want to go with Cave Beach Club epitomizes the 2020s beach club experience.

With its assortment of bean bag seats, rising tree trunks out of the deck, the huts, and alang-alang roofs, Cave Beach is the vibe. It’s Tulum cross with Canggu and we love it here! 

On any given afternoon, it’s the place to be hanging out. Afternoon kickback sessions here on the bean bags under the striped umbrella are enough to make you forget your dismal bank account. All so you can drink up the ethereal joy, a few cold draft beers and a splash of European eats.

Three Mermaids (Pratumnak)

Along Pratumnak, Three Mermaids is a central piece of a bay that’s more nature than humanity. Like nearby Sky Gallery and The Oxygen, Three Mermaids has a beautiful aura, but it’s the distinct and imaginative dining concept that sets it apart.

Along Three Mermaids’ waterfront terrace lies day beds, floating hammocks, and eight-person pods that are perfect for group days and sunsets with your whole team. 

The colorful decor, aided by the exceptional lights, wooden accents and grass floors, allows you to feel a part of the scenery. 

Just don’t look up. It’s then you’ll notice the elevated bird nests that perhaps have the best views of all. So get your reservation in! These bird nests have made Three Mermaids one of the most popular and best restaurants in Pattaya with a view for Instagram.

L’AROMA (Jomtien Beach)

Serving up all-day culinary delights from traditional Thai to Mediterranean eats, L’AROMA is one of our top restaurants in Pattaya. 

The modern setting, overlooking Jomtien Beach Road, creates a welcoming, social space. The mix of dining areas and relaxing chairs allows you to either enjoy drinks with friends or date night.

But for all its delicious creations, from burrata salads to grilled salmon pesto, it’s breakfast where we think L’AROMA really excels. The great coffee, detoxing juices and big breakfasts with the addition of the coastal breeze, means this Pattaya haunt could very well become your morning go-to. 

This place added a needed spot of sophistication to Jomtien’s restaurant scene and we’re hoping for more like L’AROMA to follow.

Pippa Restaurant (Pattaya Beach)

If there’s one Pattaya Beach restaurant that epitomizes Pattaya’s shift towards trendy decor and upscale dining, it’s Pippa. 

Half a block back from Pattaya Beach inside the upscale Mytt Hotel, Pippa Restaurant is a place to experience something different. The restaurant, its lively rooftop, with fresh sea breeze, provides an elevated experience in more ways than one.

As you admire the ocean views, well above the surrounding urban landscape, you can peruse the diverse drinks menu featuring handcrafted signature cocktails. 

With golden hour settling in, the atmosphere reaches a crescendo and it’s time to enjoy Japanese fusion, lobster, and wagyu Black Angus. Vegetarians are also well represented.

Our Final Word…

Good restaurants in Pattaya don’t stop here and we can’t keep up with all the newbies opening each and every week. We’re incredibly excited by this new wave of trendy restaurants, cafes, and beach clubs popping up all over the city. 

But the best restaurants in Pattaya are not all about these more upscale types of businesses. We love the overwhelming number of cheap local eats too, but we’ll have to save those for another blog post!
